Lascelles - Rock Oil (1996 Orange Egg)

The Orange Egg label hasn't released many albums during it's three years existence, but Rock Oil by the session player and producer Gordon Lascelles is surely the best. Deep ambient soundscapes, dark downtempo beats and sweet vocals by Vanessa Darby on this rare release.

Killer! Traded this away ages ago (IIRC for a copy of Motorbass' 1st LP), thought I'd never see it again.

Always wondered how Brand New Heavies would have sounded in later years had he stuck with them.

Thanks kid, you keep putting up the real shit

Looking forward to this one. I love dubby soundscapes in general ;)
