Coco And The Bean was the only project from the mighty Edinburgh trip hop wave of 1995 that actually pushed it through bedroom sessions and white label pressings. Killing Time was their first remarkable release before their brilliant first and only album Tales From The Mouse House which is about to appear here sometimes soon.

I have the 1st Coco & the Bean white label, bought it at Flop back in 1990-ish.
There were lots of good performers around and a few good venues.
Sugar Bullet - "Unrefined" on Virgin 1991 - were probably the most successful of the Edinburgh scene to get a major release. The collective had an excellent club in an old church at the bottom of Broughton Street.

Worth checking out.
