Anyone want a blog?

A couple of weeks ago I found this decree on Aorto's blog Had To Call It Something:

Not sure how that would work, really, just hate to see all this work go down into the ethereal universe of old blogs.
I just don't have the time to continue at the moment. New responsibilities at work have eaten up what little free time I had.
The legal trolls and their regular notices are as annoying as ever.
Add to that RS and their new rules, especially the part about deleting files if not accessed within 60 days. I just don't have the time and, as I've learned, I don't alway have access to the files anymore.
Blogging just ain't what it used to be.
I'll stick to this long as I can...as always, it's backed up; problem is, there's only so much energy to go 'round.
Enjoy the music and support the artists in any way you can. Without our support, there is no music.

Holy mackerel, I could sign it right up. Six weeks ago I promised myself to pause posting for a month. Not that I am so lazy but suddenly, for the first time after 12 years of sharing music, I've felt no special joy posting another album. When I decided to get back after said month, I usually planned new posts in that special time before falling asleep, but when I opened the blog page, I usually ended up cleaning comments section from that chinese link farm manure.

Also the RS shows no love to its long time clients. Recent policy changes made me truncate my huuuge account to sad sad 30GB, in order to make it economically sane to maintain. Believe me, it was like Sophia's choice hundred times over. But as the donations stopped coming months ago, all RS expenses are now mine. Finally I decided to delete material from the late The CTI Never Sleeps and Lemuria blogs to keep Future Vintage and Pork Recordings running. This decision will not please visitors of certain russian forums who kept downloading those files from leaked link list until the last minute. Vot takaya perestroyka...

I've been thining a lot about those Aorto's wise words. It would be just too easy to put on a closedown notice and watch this place rust until the last link expires. Can't help it but that's just not very me. Suicide is painless but it surely doesn't bring so many changes. So please take the handful of albums below as my humble "hello again" and let's see what it's like to blog in the New Dark Ages.

Stay tuned!

You and I have very similar tastes in music. Have you considered joining a private t*rr*nt community? It is large (over 6500 members) but invite only. I'd love to sponsor you (and to share some stuff w/ you, too). Let me know if you are interested. (The site is torrentech.org.) You can hit me up at icm at theinconsistent dot com. Thank you for your service!!

Been a way for a while and browsing through your blog found this post! What a surprise.

Yours is one of the best blogs out there at the moment so what you do is appreciated.

I'm still around, just dealing with reality for a while. Thanks for all the hard work!

(Would still love to pass on the blog but I can't even tell you how many files on RS have been deleted...).
